The Start of a Bigger Story

The Realization

Sophomore year of college, I had a moment of clarity.

I didn’t know exactly what I was going to do, but I knew it wasn’t this.

For most of my life, I had been living for others, checking every box: finance, clubs, sports, friends, fun, you name it. I had built a life around who I thought I should be. But none of it felt like my own.

So I asked myself: What does a life that’s truly mine look like? That question set me on a quest.

A few weeks later, I found myself on the outskirts of Thun, Switzerland (pop. 2,000), working on a farm. Scooping a lot of horse poop.

I returned and decided to enter a race. The next week I completed my first ultra-marathon. â€‹

Three months later I was on a flight to Nairobi, Kenya.

The Adventure

After spending the summer in Kenya, I kept exploring.

With a one-way ticket in hand, I set off for Peru. Over the next year, I didn’t just see new places, I lived new lessons:

  • The importance of having your visa in order (learned the hard way)

  • The thrill (and dangers) of ice climbing

  • The power of high-energy communities

  • The realities of entrepreneurship from the ground up

  • The feeling of running through the Andes Mountain

That year wasn’t just about travel, it was about learning how to truly live.

The Return

After a year of adventure, I returned to school.

But this time, I was back on my own terms.

Wanting to surround myself with those who love to learn, I took a job at the library. Let me tell you, there's an exorbitant amount of books in this world!

That summer, I completed my first Ironman. Remember to wear sunscreen.

I entered the fall of my senior year with a whole new mindset. School was now fun. It was a long journey to be able to write that.

My next adventure, upon graduating would take me to Austin, Texas.

Raising Consciousness

I walked across the stage, packed my bags, and moved to Austin.

An invisible hand guided me there, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I found a community that felt like home.

In January of 2025, I stepped into the arena of coaching and I haven't turned back. I get to share the magic of creating our being and how we can live a life we love.

Peace and Love, Double B
